Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a part-time, per diem position with rotating shifts. The technologist will perform all ultrasound procedures in the department, at the bedside, and in the OR, collaborating with radiologists to ensure accurate imaging.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS registration, and BLS.

The sonographer is responsible for performing all ultrasound procedures including those within the department, at the bedside, and in the OR. The sonographer works closely with the radiologist and other licensed physicians presenting images and data for interpretation and assisting with interventional procedures. The sonographer must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The sonographer may have direct or indirect access to medications based on established hospital protocols. The sonographer is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
