Job summary

Navicent Health Medical Center Ultrasound department is hiring a full-time ultrasound technologist for Weekday Days. The position offers a pay range of $35.50–$53.25 per hour and requires an active ultrasound program graduate, AR/ABRM or OB-GYN registries, and BLS certification.

No prior experience is required beyond formal training. The role involves assisting Radiologists, verifying orders, and maintaining equipment and workflow in a patient-centered care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program.
• AR/ RDMS or ARRT certification required (S).
• AB/OB-GYN registries required: Abdomen (AB) or OB/GYN.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exam and develops an effective technique.
• Operates the Radiology computer system including entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Maintains organized work area and ensures equipment is properly stocked.
