Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography graduate to join the Navicent Health Medical Center - Ultrasound team. The position is full-time, 30 hours per week, with a weekday day schedule and a pay range of $35.50–$53.25 per hour.

Responsibilities include verifying orders, assisting Radiologists, operating RIS and ultrasound equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and upholding a patient-centered care philosophy in a busy department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a comprehensive medical diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Certified by the ARDMS or ARRT with AB or OB/GYN eligibility.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders on each assigned patient.
• Assists Radiologist in performing invasive procedures.
• Evaluates technical quality of exams and optimizes technique for efficiency.
• Operates the Radiology computer system for entering and charging exams and supplies.
• Maintains a neat, stocked work area and adheres to department rules.
