Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ is seeking a variable shift, PRN Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technician to support obstetric imaging and vascular studies in a fast-paced, patient‑focused environment.

The requirements include completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program, ARRT/ARDMS certification or eligibility, ongoing licensure, and BLS within 14 days of hire; on-call and holiday coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• On call and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing standard general ultrasounds as well as all vascular exams including but not limited to: cardiovascular studies, venous studies, arterial studies, and renal studies.

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
