Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ seeks a variable shift, PRN Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technician. The role focuses on performing standard general ultrasounds and vascular studies, including cardiovascular, venous, arterial, and renal exams, with on-call and holiday responsibilities.

Qualified candidates have completed an Accredited Ultrasound Program and hold ARRT/ARDMS certification, with licensure and national registry maintained.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• On call and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• The Ultrasound Tech performs standard general ultrasounds and vascular exams including cardiovascular, venous, arterial, and renal studies.

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing standard general ultrasounds as well as all vascular exams including but not limited to: cardiovascular studies, venous studies, arterial studies, and renal studies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of prior MFM Department experience

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
