Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ, is seeking a variable shift, PRN Maternal Fetal Medicine Ultrasound Technician to join our imaging team.

You will perform standard general ultrasounds and vascular studies, including cardiovascular, venous, arterial, and renal exams, on patients in a fast-paced obstetric setting. On-call and holiday coverage is required, with compensation commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.
• ARRT, ARDMS, or equivalent registered or eligible.
• Must maintain licensure and national certification/registry.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• On call and holidays required.

Responsibilities

The Ultrasound Tech is responsible for performing standard general ultrasounds as well as all vascular exams including but not limited to: cardiovascular studies, venous studies, arterial studies, and renal studies.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Program.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• At least 1 year of prior MFM Department experience

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
