Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist – Lymphedema Specialist to perform specialized imaging for lymphedema and broader diagnostic ultrasound in a leading academic medical center. The role includes Indocyanine Green lymphography and collaboration with physicians to guide diagnosis and treatment planning.

New grads are welcome and RVT is preferred. Licensure in MA and ARDMS/RVT credentials are required, with BLS certification and strong patient-centered care as essential

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree in Medical Radiography. MA radiology license and ARRT/ARDMS credentials required for specialty imaging. BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Valid MA state license and ARDMS/RVT credentials for ultrasound and lymphedema imaging. Mammography certification through ARRT/DPH MA highly preferred.
• New grads welcome; RVT preferred; advanced imaging certifications essential for ICG lymphography and ultrasound exams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic ultrasound exams across body parts; set up equipment and ensure accurate orders.
• Evaluate image quality and completeness, adjust as needed to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and maintain hygiene and safety protocols.
• Edit computer entries for accuracy in descriptions, charges, and contrast usage.
• Maintain daily room checklists, code cart and monthly inventory for expired products.

Education

Associate's degree in Medical Radiography

MA State License

ARDMS (Ob/Gyn & Abdomen)

RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)

Mammography certification through ARRT / DPH MA

Certified in Breast Sonography (BS) through ARRT or ARDMS

Basic Life Support (AHA)
