Job summary

ADP seeks a qualified Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under physician supervision in a clinical setting. You will prepare rooms, operate ultrasound equipment, review patient history, and provide preliminary reports to support accurate diagnoses and treatment decisions.

Qualifications

• ARDMS/ARRT/CCI certification in sonography.
• CPR certification and ongoing CME commitment.
• Sonography education and hands-on training in the specialty area performed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations following safety and infection protocols.
• Perform diagnostic medical sonography exams as ordered by supervising physician.
• Review patient history and ensure complete exam order.
• Maintain ALARA principles and patient safety during procedures.
• Provide preliminary report/comments for the interpreting physician.
• Communicate findings and limitations to the physician as needed.
