Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound under the radiologist's direction. You will handle abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts exams, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, diagnostic sonography certification, and ARDMS eligibility with BLS, with 36 hours/week Day shifts (Fri-Sun). A $5k sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Diploma/certificate in diagnostic medical sonography preferred.
• Associates degree preferred for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound scans (abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts) per physician instructions.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and equipment.
• Acquire and evaluate digital images for diagnostic quality.
• Assist physicians during procedures and with medications as needed.
• Rotate across department to meet staffing needs.
