Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist II for the Heart Care-Vascular team at Osborn Medical Office Building, Scottsdale. This in-person role supports abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies under radiologist supervision.

You will perform image acquisition, ensure patient safety, and assist physicians in diagnostic procedures. Benefits include a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 and a schedule of 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited program for diagnostic medical sonography.
• ARDMS eligibility including SPI exam (required).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current.
• RDMS or RVT credentialed (license/credential).
• Two or more ARDMS specialty credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound techniques including abdominal, OB/GYN, and small parts with appropriate technical factors.
• Transports patient to/from exam room and prepares the room.
• Acquires digital images and evaluates for quality; assists physician in procedures.
• Supports daily workflow coordination and maintains department organization.
• Maintains and calibrates equipment; performs quality control testing as directed.
• Rotates through department to cover staffing and volume fluctuations.
