UT Health East Texas is seeking a day shift Ultrasound Technician in Tyler, TX to operate ultrasound equipment for diagnostic procedures under Radiologist supervision.

The role requires ARDMS-approved training, ARDMS certification or eligibility within 120 days, and BLS within 14 days of hire. You will provide imaging services across diverse patient ages in a collaborative imaging team.

Competenze

• Graduate of an ARDMS-approved Ultrasound program.
• Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible within 120 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Knowledge and ability to operate all Ultrasound equipment and Ultrasound-required exams.

Mansioni

• Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images for diagnostic and invasive procedures as directed by Radiologist.
• Care for patient populations across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric ages.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and / or invasive procedures, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties. The patient population would include the pediatric patient, the adolescent patient, the young-middle aged adult patient, and the geriatric patient.

Qualifications
