Job summary

UT Health East Texas in Athens, TX is seeking a day shift, part-time Women's Health Ultrasound Tech to join our imaging team. You will operate ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic images and assist Radiologists in clinical procedures.

The role serves a broad patient population from pediatric to geriatric, with focus on women's health. It requires ARDMS registration or registry eligibility within 90 days, BLS within 14 days, and graduation from an ARDMS-approved ultrasound program.

Qualifications

• Must be ARDMS registered or registry eligible within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Graduate of an ARDMS approved Ultrasound program.

Responsibilities

• Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and/or invasive procedures as directed by Radiologist, across diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

Operates ultrasound equipment to produce images of the body for diagnostic and / or invasive procedures, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties. The patient population would include the pediatric patient, the adolescent patient, the young-middle aged adult patient, and the geriatric patient.
