Job summary
Philips in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Technical Logistics & Systems Technician to support onsite shipping, upgrading, and maintenance of ultrasound systems within our medical technology operations.
You will collaborate with engineers, vendors, and project managers to ensure high-quality medical solutions, gaining hands-on experience while developing troubleshooting and analytical skills for advanced ultrasound technology. This is a full-time onsite role in Cambridge.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of technician experience; medical technology or shipping logistics background preferred.
- Strong hardware/software upgrade, troubleshooting, and ultrasound techs understanding.
- Proficiency with SAP for procurement and material availability.
- Bonus skills: Air IATA and Ground Certification.
- High school diploma required; 2-year vocational preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage shipping, handling, and maintenance of ultrasound systems.
- Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and project managers to deliver high-quality medical technology solutions.
- Coordinate with internal development teams, external shipping vendors, and healthcare professionals relying on equipment for diagnostics.
- Gain hands-on experience with advanced ultrasound systems and enhance technical knowledge.
- Develop problem-solving and analytical skills through troubleshooting and prototype work.
