Scope of Work

• Perform basic ultrasound procedures.
• Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered sonographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures.
• Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures.
• Obtains a complete patient history prior to performing an ultrasound procedure.
• Operates ultrasound equipment competently to provide quality diagnostic studies that meets the requirements of established ultrasound protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program
• Preferred AHA OR ARC (BLS) Basic Life Support
