Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a Radiology - Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 2+ years of vascular and general ultrasound experience, ARDMS registration, and a BLS certification.

The technologist will perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, operate diagnostic equipment, and ensure patient comfort and safety. Responsibilities include images acquisition, patient positioning, equipment calibration, exam scheduling, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in vascular and general ultrasound.
• ARDMS is required for the role.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of ultrasound procedures.
• Operates diagnostic ultrasound equipment to obtain images for diagnosis.
• Positions and transfers patients as needed for procedures.
• Adjusts equipment parameters to obtain diagnostic images.
• Assists in equipment calibration and quality control as directed.
• Maintains high-level probe disinfection and room cleanliness.
• Schedules exams and maintains department records.
• Interacts with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Available for emergency call back and shift coverage.
