Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Imaging & Radiology is seeking an ultrasound technologist to provide high-quality imaging services, prepare rooms and equipment, and assist radiologists as needed. You will ensure patient safety, proper documentation, and patient education while maintaining confidentiality.

Role requires hospital experience, RDMS certification, and BLS at hire, with opportunities in a team-driven, patient-focused setting within the Kaiser Permanente network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• RDMS certificate required at hire.
• Hospital setting experience preferred.
• Customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures and positions patients to optimize imaging.
• Prepares ultrasound rooms and diagnostic equipment; ensures safety and documentation.
• Assists Radiologists during procedures as needed.
• Inputs patient data into IDX-Rad and manages check-in and procedure completion.
• Provides patient education and addresses questions.
• Maintains patient and staff confidentiality and adheres to privacy rules.
• Adheres to radiation safety protocols and QA/QC activities.
