Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Tacoma, WA is seeking a dedicated Sonographer for a 30 hours/week role. Provide ultrasound imaging per physician orders, prepare rooms and equipment, and ensure image quality and patient safety. Work closely with Radiology staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic services.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required at hire.
• RDMS certification required at hire from ARDMS.
• Experience in ultrasound and patient care duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide ultrasound imaging services per physician orders.
• Prepare ultrasound rooms and diagnostic equipment.
• Operate equipment following safety standards and develop films.
• Assist Radiologists with procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient and staff confidentiality and provide education as appropriate.
