Job summary

1810 Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Lee, NH is seeking an Ultrasound Tech for part-time placement. The role offers a starting pay rate of $44.00 per hour, with a $20,000 sign-on bonus and weekend/evening differentials.

Schedule includes Sat/Sun/Mon, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM, with a 30-hour weekly commitment and onsite work at 65 Calef Highway. Under supervision, you will operate ultrasound equipment, verify patient identity, and communicate findings to physicians.

Qualifications

• Ultrasound imaging experience preferred; 2–3 years with multiple patient populations.
• Licenses/certifications required as listed; ARDMS preferred.
• Appropriate educational background in diagnostic imaging.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and acquire quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare exam room and equipment.
• Collaborate with leadership for workflow and scanner utilization.
• Provide patient communication and ensure confidentiality and safety.
• Participate in on-call, holiday, and shift rotations as required.
• Support research, QA, and educational activities within the department.
