Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Tech to cover Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with call and holiday rotation.

The role involves overseeing daily patient flow through the ultrasound department and coordinating exam assignments under the supervisor's direction. Responsibilities include maintaining records, collecting patient histories, coordinating with radiologists, assisting during exams and invasive procedures when needed, and ensuring studies are properly assigned

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma is required.
• RDMS (Physics and an additional specialty) and/or ARRT (S) and BLS required.
• Member of a professional society is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily flow of patients through the ultrasound department and coordinate exam assignments.
• Record and chart information for individual cases; maintain accurate documentation.
• Collect patient histories and coordinate with radiologists and others as needed.
