Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a Sonographer to perform ultrasound procedures under radiologist supervision. The role requires competency in sonography, ARDMS eligibility, and basic life support. A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered.

The position features full-time hours with night shifts (9p-7:30a or 8p-6:30a, M-Th) and a strong emphasis on teamwork, safety, and quality care in a busy department.

Qualifications

• Certification by the ARDMS or registry eligible for sonography.
• Ability to demonstrate competency in sonographic procedures.
• Successful demonstration of competence in Basic Life Support (Health Care Provider).
• Experience with general computer applications.
• 2 years of experience minimum required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures under supervision.
• Complete exams promptly and report stat results within one hour.
• Maintain competency in ultrasound applications and documentation.
• Restock, housekeeping, patient safety, and compliance duties as needed.
