Job summary

Advocate Health’s Trinity Hospital – Ultrasound department in Illinois is hiring a registered sonographer for full-time night shift. ARDMS certification and 1–2 years of hospital experience are preferred.

The role requires CPR certification and the ability to work with diverse age groups and rotating shifts. You will perform quality sonograms, operate ultrasound equipment, verify physician orders, document in radiology systems, and contribute to CQI initiatives while providing patient education

Qualifications

• ARDMS Registered; certification required.
• Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent; 1–2 years experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required and patient age-group experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality sonograms.
• Operate all sonography equipment including transducers and Doppler.
• Verify physician orders and ensure complete data entry in radiology systems.
• Provide patient education before, during and after exams.
• Participate in CQI indicators and process improvements.
• Maintain safety and professional standards across shifts.
