Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Ultrasound Technologist for the Advocate Lutheran General Hospital Ultrasound department. The role covers the 3rd shift, performing abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts exams, with on-call coordination as needed.

Licensure includes ARDMS/ARRT registrations to be obtained within the stated timeframes; graduate from an AMA-approved ultrasound program with eligible registry status is required.

Qualifications

• Abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts ultrasound abilities.
• Registered or Registry Eligible per ARDMS/ARRT guidance.
• Experience interpreting ultrasound images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive array of non-invasive ultrasound procedures.
• Provide complete and accurate images for diagnostic use.
• Document patient history and explain tests to patients.
• Communicate findings to physicians and coordinate scheduling.
