University Hospitals in Beachwood, OH seeks a Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech) to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams, operate equipment, and uphold quality standards. You will validate orders, prepare rooms, and work with radiologists as needed.

Requirements include completion of an accredited sonography program, RDMS certification where applicable, and BLS. This is an on-site role with up to 10% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited program in sonography.
• RDMS certification is preferred or eligible.
• Ability to collaborate with radiology and other staff.

Responsabilités

• Validate patient orders and review prior imaging.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment following safety protocols.
• Identify patients and explain exams in terms the patient can understand.
• Perform ultrasound exams per departmental protocols and ensure accurate capture.
• Complete structured reports and upload images to PACS.
• Maintain High Level Disinfection procedures.
• Provide age-specific care from neonates to geriatrics.
• Protect patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and maintain credentials.
• Report equipment failures per procedure.
• Follow safety standards (DNV, ODH, etc.).
