Qualifications

• Ability to handle stored ultrasound images.

Responsibilities

• Validate patient order and review prior imaging.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment per safety protocols.
• Identify patient and explain the exam clearly.
• Perform ultrasound exams following dept. protocols with independent judgment.
• Complete structured reporting and review with radiologist as needed.
• Maintain High Level Disinfection procedures.
• Provide age-specific care from neonates to geriatrics.
• Protect patient privacy and comply with HIPAA.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and maintain credentials.
• Report equipment failures and follow safety standards.
