Job summary

Boone Hospital Center is seeking a Registered Diagnostic Sonographer I for general ultrasound. The role includes abdominal, small parts and obstetrical studies for adults and pediatrics, with imaging in OR or portable settings and collaboration with radiologists.

Hours are typically 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday–Friday, with minimal call. A $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance are available; benefits start on day one and parking is free.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–6 years experience in ultrasound preferred.
• BLS within first 30 days of employment.
• 2 credentials or 3 applicable certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound imaging examinations.
• Performs studies independently in the Operating Room or portable exams as required.
• Maintains equipment and supplies.
• Ensures proper documentation of procedures.
• Collaborates with Radiologist and medical staff for diagnosis.
• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.
