SIS is currently seeking a motivated team player with relevant experience for the position of Ultrasound Probe Repair and Testing Technician at our Glendale Heights, IL location (near Chicago). The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and refurbishing ultrasound probes in accordance with manufacturer and company standards. The technician must work semi-autonomously, assess instrumentation, troubleshoot issues, and perform repairs. A professional demeanor, ownership of responsibilities, proactive attitude, and commitment to quality customer service are essential.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Troubleshoot ultrasound probes to meet voltage standards.
2. Utilize multimeters and oscilloscopes to identify and repair shorts and opens.
3. Perform micro-soldering on probe arrays onto circuit boards.
4. Test probes prior to submission for final quality control.
