Qualifications

• Graduate from a Diagnostic Ultrasound Program in General Ultrasound.
• ARDMS Abdomen registration or must achieve within 12 months of hire.
• BLS Certification required.
• Preferred: 1 year of general ultrasound experience.
• RDMS (OBGYN) registered or registry eligible.
• Vascular ultrasound experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Produce diagnostic ultrasound exams, position patients, and adjust technical factors as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and assist physicians; delegate tasks as appropriate.
• May serve as acting supervisor in absence of senior technologist.
• Assist in first aid and maintain sterile technique to prevent cross‑contamination.
• Teach imaging students or hospital personnel and conduct training on equipment and procedures.
