Job summary

Michigan Medicine seeks a Ultrasound Division Supervisor within the Department of Radiology to lead both technical and non-technical staff and coordinate daily operations across multiple ultrasound sites. The role includes after-hours support for urgent needs and close collaboration with scheduling staff and radiologists.

The ideal candidate will have ARDMS in Abdomen and OB-Gyn, five years of ultrasound experience, and an associate degree or equivalent with current BLS.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in abdomen and Ob-Gyn.
• Five years of progressive ultrasound experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and leadership experience.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for ultrasound staff.
• Prioritize tasks to ensure timely patient care in a fast-paced Ultrasound operation.
• Maximize resources to meet patient care and productivity standards.
• Coordinate daily Ultrasound division operations.
• Resolve daily workflow issues including patient flow, scheduling, and staffing.
