Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Lead Sonographer who will operate ultrasound imaging equipment, coordinate daily workflow, and serve as a lead when leadership is unavailable. The role requires expertise in imaging procedures, patient safety, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.

The candidate should have ARDMS/ARRT/CCI registrations, BLS, and either 2 years of related experience or a Bachelor degree in Sonography, with state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography with clinical hours completed.
• 2 years of relevant experience OR graduation from a Bachelor degree program.
• State licensure may be required depending on state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflow and serve as lead when leadership is unavailable.
• Operate imaging equipment and ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging.
• Assist in coordinating patient care with healthcare professionals.
