Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The role entails performing routine and complex ultrasound exams, preparing and operating equipment, and ensuring images are of diagnostic quality for physician review.

You will maintain safety and document study results, ensuring timely PACS submission while adhering to regulatory standards. The position requires on-call weekend and holiday availability and a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 1 month of hire date.
• Credentials for ultrasound imaging (CCI/ARRT/ARDMS) due within 6 months of hire.
• AR DMS or ARDMS credentials accepted; Wisconsin licensure required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex ultrasound examinations with high image quality.
• Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment, optimize transducer use, and assess anatomy and artifacts.
• Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of studies to PACS.
• Maintain safe, compliant imaging environments and clean work areas.
