Job summary

Mercyhealth Lake Geneva is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonography exams in a PRN capacity. You will prepare rooms and equipment, obtain patient data, and capture high-quality images for physician interpretation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of diagnostic medical sonography.
• Active ARDMS or ARRT sonography registration; registry eligible must register within 12 months of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment for sonography exams.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound with attention to safety and QA standards.
• Review patient history and document findings with preliminary report.
• Operate PACS/EMR and assist with image sharing and documentation.
• Assist radiologists and train students as needed.
