Job summary

The UT MAUS Level II NDI Technician is responsible for performing advanced ultrasonic inspections using the MAUS system to detect and evaluate flaws in aircraft structures. Working within the Aircraft Maintenance Group at Tinker AFB, this role ensures compliance with U.S. Air Force NDI standards and supports flight safety and readiness.

The ideal candidate has hands-on MAUS experience and Level II UT certification per NAS 410 or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level II Ultrasonic Testing certification (NAS 410 or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience operating MAUS equipment in aerospace.
• Able to interpret inspection data, drawings, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform Level II UT inspections using MAUS on aircraft components.
• Analyze MAUS data to identify subsurface defects and delaminations.
• Interpret technical drawings and procedures to ensure reliable results.
