Job summary

NDE Labs is seeking an Ultrasonic Level III leader to guide aerospace, defense, and Navy nuclear inspection programs. You will develop and approve UT procedures, interpret complex specifications, and ensure compliance with NAS410, SNT-TC-1A, and regulatory standards.

You will train inspectors, support certifications, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with engineering, quality, and production teams in a full-time onsite role.

Qualifications

• NAS410 Ultrasonic Level III certification required or capable of certification.
• SNT-TC-1A Ultrasonic Level III certification knowledge or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of ultrasonic inspection experience in aerospace, defense, or nuclear.
• Experience developing written procedures and inspection techniques.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for ultrasonic inspection programs in aerospace, defense, and nuclear sectors.
• Develop, qualify, validate, and approve ultrasonic procedures and techniques.
• Interpret customer drawings and military standards to meet contractual requirements.
• Train and mentor Level I/II staff and supervise examinations and certifications.
• Support audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
