Job summary

Precise Systems in Bethesda, MD is seeking an experienced Nondestructive Testing Ultrasonic Technician Level III to support Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. This in-person role requires conducting advanced UT techniques and developing procedures for Level II personnel.

Qualified candidates hold Level III UT certification, PAUT Level II, and a high school diploma; U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Certified to Level III UT for thickness, shear wave, and ToFD per NAVSEA requirements.
• PAUT Level II certification under an industry-recognized NDT program.
• Minimum five years of experience generating and approving scan plans, procedures, and training materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee advanced ultrasonic testing (thickness, shear wave, ToFD, PAUT).
• Develop procedures, scan plans, training programs, and certification exams for Level II personnel.
