Job summary

Shermco is seeking a dedicated UL508A Panel Shop Employee to safely assemble, wire, and test industrial control panels and enclosures. Work from schematics, BOMs, and layouts to meet customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include installing components, routing wiring, applying proper torque, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while adhering to UL508A standards. Prior panel-building experience is preferred; strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Basic understanding of AC/DC electrical systems.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Follow UL508A requirements and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire UL508A panels and electrical enclosures.
• Install circuit breakers, relays, PLC components, and other hardware.
• Route and label wiring; ensure proper grounding and labeling.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and document inspections.
• Follow drawings and torque specifications; use test equipment as needed.
