Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking an assembler for electrical control panels. You will review drawings, gather materials, and build out panels while mounting components and wiring to UL 508A standards. You will use hand and power tools, test instrumentation, and log labor hours and parts in the ERP system.

The role emphasizes meticulous assembly, wiring, and testing, with optional experience in HMI/PLC/Servo/VFD programming and field experience in wiring and commissioning control systems.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, work orders and reports.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical control systems by installing components, subassemblies, and wiring to UL 508A requirements.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and reports to determine materials and assembly steps.
• Use hand and power tools and testing instrumentation proficiently.
• Record production data—labor hours and parts consumed—within the ERP system.
• Clean and maintain equipment, machinery, and workstations daily.
• Field experience wiring and commissioning electrical control systems is a plus.
• HMI, PLC, Servo, or VFD programming experience at any level is preferred.

A day in this roleBegin with a work order in one hand and a schematic in the other. You’ll review drawings, gather materials, and build out electrical control panels piece by piece—mounting components and subassemblies, routing and terminating wiring, and validating your work to UL 508A standards. Throughout the build, you’ll use hand and power tools alongside testing instrumentation to verify quality.
