Job summary

Shermco Industries in Wichita Falls, TX is seeking a Shop Technician to assemble, wire, and test UL508A control panels and enclosures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will read schematics, install components, and ensure compliance with UL508A standards while maintaining safe, clean work areas and following company procedures. Prior panel shop experience is a plus; training is provided for UL508A requirements.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience in UL508A panel shop is a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Willingness to learn UL508A requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire UL508A industrial control panels and enclosures.
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to build panels.
• Install circuit breakers, disconnects, relays, and PLC components.
• Perform mechanical layout, drilling, cutting, and mounting.
• Route and label control and power wiring.
• Maintain clean, safe work areas and follow safety policies.
