Qualifications

• Must have UL 508A knowledge and be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial control panel manufacturing, inspection, or electrical assembly.
• Ability to verify component selection, wiring, and NEC/UL compliance during inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final inspections of industrial control panels for UL 508A compliance.
• Verify UL-recognized and UL-listed components as required by UL 508A.
• Confirm SCCR compliance and proper documentation.
• Check wire sizing, routing, spacing, protection, and installation per UL 508A/NEC.
• Inspect panel construction, grounding, bonding, labeling, and nameplates.
• Perform and document electrical testing.
• Maintain inspection records for UL audits.
• Assist UL field representatives during inspections and audits.
