Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to support safety and non-safety certification inspections in the Erie, PA area. You will perform audits of quality systems, review production records, and communicate findings to manufacturers and customers.

The role involves travel within a set radius of the home location, client-facing activities, and using UL-supplied equipment for measurements. A university degree or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent technical certification in engineering, engineering technology, industrial technology, manufacturing technology, or physics.
• Experience in field engineering, compliance, or quality engineering preferred.
• ASQ certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing examination and test results against requirements.
• Use technical judgement to evaluate noncompliance and determine sufficiency of UL Mark.
• Interpret examination results and verify accuracy of manufacturers’ measuring equipment.
