Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Field Engineer to travel to customer sites in the United States, performing inspections and audits to ensure continued compliance with UL’s requirements. You will review products for marking eligibility, verify components and documentation, and assist customers on UL services throughout the product lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or technical diploma, at least 3 years related experience, strong English and local language communication, a valid driver’s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary vocational education diploma in a relevant Technical Discipline or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years directly related experience.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English and local language.
• Valid driving license with good driving record where applicable.
• Readiness to extensive travel.
• Good communication skills.
• Good IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and audits compliant with required standards and UL procedures.
• Review products and components during factory visits for UL marking eligibility.
• Verify components, materials, markings and UL labels for products.
• Review production records and documentation.
• Coordinate travel and scheduling of inspections and tests.
• Assist customers with questions and promote UL services and benefits.
• Build close relationships with UL offices and departments to deliver value.
• Support customers throughout product lifecycle and certification needs.
• Follow UL Code of Conduct and security practices.
