UL Solutions is seeking a resourceful NDT Inspector to analyze test results and determine compliance with UL standards in a demanding environment in Central NJ. You will audit quality programs, review production records, and perform calibration and inspections with UL tools.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical aptitude, excellent client communication, and up to 50% overnight travel. The position emphasizes safety, HBSE principles, and accurate documentation while adhering to UL's Code

Qualifications

• AAS in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) required.
• ASNT Level II or higher certification required; must be current.
• Familiarity with large emergency or hydraulic equipment is a plus.
• CP 189 or SNT-TC-1A knowledge is a plus.
• Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and technical ability.
• Excellent communication with clients.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at height.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and meet vision standards.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes and evaluates examination and test results against applicable requirements.
• Uses technical judgment to evaluate noncompliance variations and assess acceptability of solutions.
• Audits customer quality management or assurance programs when required.
• Exhibits independent discretion in technical decisions and interprets results.
• Reviews manufacturers' production, inspection, and shipping programs for compliance.
• Facilitates corrective actions for variations from UL requirements.
• Understands HBSE principles and applies them in VN handling.
• Performs inspections using UL equipment and ensures proper calibration.
• Documents results and maintains inspection logs; supports travel when needed.
• Reads and follows UL Code of Conduct and security practices.
