Job summary

Leidos is seeking a UiPath Automation Engineer to lead cloud initiatives for the United States Coast Guard in Alexandria, VA. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-grade RPA solutions, mentor developers, and advance our RPA Center of Excellence with governance and delivery standards.

The role requires 2+ years in UiPath, strong programming, and collaboration with security/infrastructure teams. Eligible for Public Trust and related certifications, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in CS / IS / Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of hands-on RPA development experience in UiPath.
• UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).
• Strong proficiency in UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, REFramework, and Robot deployment/administration.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases; API integrations (REST/SOAP).
• Excellent communication and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy end-to-end RPA workflows using UiPath Studio and Orchestrator.
• Lead process discovery and solution design sessions with stakeholders.
• Architect reusable components and libraries to accelerate development.
• Integrate UiPath bots with enterprise systems via APIs and databases.
• Implement logging, exception handling, and monitoring for production stability.
• Mentor junior/mid-level developers and contribute to the CoE practices.
• Manage bot deployment lifecycle including CI/CD and version control.
