CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for a UI/UX Software Developer.

**Job Title:** UI/UX Software Developer

**Location:** Painted Post, NY

_Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Painted Post, NY._

**Pay Rate:** Based on experience

**Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm

**Description:**

CTG is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with strong proficiency in Vue.js and UI development using Figma designs, working within a Scrum development team environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Develop and maintain user interface components and reusable modules using Vue.js

+ Collaborate with UI/UX designers to transform Figma designs into functional and reusable components

+ Integrate frontend applications with RESTful and GraphQL APIs

+ Utilize Git and GitLab for version control and collaborative development

+ Implement and manage UI components using Storybook for consistent development standards

+ Debug and solve complex technical problems to ensure seamless user experiences

+ Participate in agile development processes, including code reviews and sprint planning

+ Contribute to the development and execution of UI unit tests, promoting test-driven development practices

**Requirements:**

+ Proven expertise in Vue.js and related technologies (Vuetify, Vite, Pinia, Composition API, etc.)

+ Experience developing applications using Typescript

+ Solid understanding of MVC and MVVM architectural patterns

+ Strong proficiency with Git and GitLab (including CI/CD)

+ Ability to translate Figma designs into responsive, functional applications

+ Hands-on experience consuming RESTful and GraphQL APIs

+ Experience using Storybook for building and sharing reusable Vue.js components

+ Excellent analytical skills with a focus on optimizing performance and user experience

**Required Qualifications:**

**Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

+ Candidates with an Associate’s degree will be considered if they possess an additional 3-5 years of relevant experience

**Experience:**

+ 1-3 years of professional experience in frontend development

**Bonus Skills (Preferred but not required):**

+ Knowledge of additional programming languages such as C#, VB.Net, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB

+ Experience with microservices and GraphQL API definition

+ Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for frontend applications

+ Experience with testing frameworks and tools like Playwright or Cypress

+ Familiarity with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL

**Travel Requirements:**

+ 0-25% Domestic and International (low likelihood, project-dependent)
