UI/UX Engineer

Locations: Dallas, Atlanta, New Jersey

We are seeking a creative, highly adaptable UX/UI professional to design and build intuitive, modern experiences for AI-driven products. This role requires someone with a strong UX foundation and hands-on Angular development experience who can move quickly from concept to functional product.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a large enterprise, is comfortable with ambiguity, and can quickly pivot as requirements, technology, and product direction evolve.

Core Skills & Experience

• UX Design: Strong experience translating complex requirements and user needs into intuitive workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished digital experiences.

• Angular UI Development: Hands-on experience building responsive applications using Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with a strong understanding of modern front-end development.

• Design Systems: Experience building design systems, reusable UI components, and patterns from scratch, creating consistency while supporting rapid product development.

• AI Product Experience: Experience designing or developing interfaces for AI, Generative AI, conversational, or emerging technology products strongly preferred.

• Rapid Prototyping & Iteration: Ability to quickly move from ideas to prototypes and functional UI, incorporating feedback and adjusting direction rapidly.

• Creative Problem Solving: Strong creative instincts with the ability to explore new interaction models and think beyond traditional application experiences.

• Adaptability: Comfortable working with ambiguity, changing requirements, and pivoting quickly without losing momentum.

• Enterprise + Startup Mindset: Able to operate effectively within a large organization while bringing the speed, ownership, creativity, and hands-on mentality of a startup.

• Collaboration: Strong ability to partner with product managers, engineers, AI teams, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio demonstrating strong UX/UI design combined with hands-on front-end development

• Strong Angular experience

• Experience creating design systems and reusable Angular components

• Experience with AI-driven products or interfaces

• Strong prototyping skills, ideally with Figma

• Understanding of responsive design and accessibility

• Experience working in agile, rapidly changing product environments

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $80.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
