Job summary

LMI is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to support Army modernization initiatives, requiring an Active Secret clearance. You will translate complex workflows into intuitive, mission-ready interfaces and collaborate with Product Owners, Engineers, and Army stakeholders to enable fast, informed decisions in dynamic environments.

You will design for cloud-native, AI-enabled software and help create scalable UX patterns and artifacts used across enterprise and Tactical Edge Compute environments.

Qualifications

Active Secret security clearance is required.
5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role.
Experience designing modern web-based applications using user-centered design principles.
Ability to translate operational requirements into intuitive interfaces.

Responsibilities

Lead UX/UI design for next-generation software supporting Army modernization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define UX goals and standards.
Conduct user research, interviews, and usability studies with Army personnel.
Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
Develop and maintain a scalable design system with accessible guidelines.
Design interfaces for visualizing data, COPs, and mission workflows.
