1872 Consulting is seeking a data-driven UI/UX Designer for the Washington D.C. area, with full-time, 100% remote work. You will collaborate with our UX & Design team, Product Managers, and engineers to elevate the design and user experience of our software products.

The role requires 2+ years in UI/UX design, experience with prototyping tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch), and Wordpress. U.S. citizenship is required. Nice-to-haves include HTML/CSS coding and data visualization experience.

Qualifications

2+ years of UI/UX design experience.
Proficiency with prototyping tools: Adobe XD, Figma, Sketch.
Experience with Wordpress.
Must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

Understand user needs through stakeholder conversations and translate into clear design briefs.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customers to define UX requirements and success metrics.
Create wireframes, flow diagrams, and interactive prototypes to communicate ideas.
Design data-rich dashboards and dashboards-oriented UI patterns for analytics products.
Conduct user research and usability testing; iterate designs based on feedback and data.
Ensure UI design fidelity, accessibility, and consistency across products.

SummaryWe are seeking a data-driven UI/UX Designer skilled B2B software design. Utilizing your passion for UI/UX, you will work in close collaboration with our UX & Design team, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and our Customers to elevate the design and user experience of our products.
What you’ll be doing

Possess a fundamental understanding of information hierarchy and have the ability to clearly express through design
Engage with stakeholders to understand customer needs related to business analytics and reporting, and translate requirements into captivating designs and effective interfaces
Partner closely with product managers to define hypotheses, create user stories, and identify KPIs that help us ensure we're solving the right problems in the right way
Conduct user research and usability testing, quickly iterating and pivoting when needed, to intelligently influence design decisions and priorities
Contribute to end-to-end conceptualization, testing, and design of clear and impactful visualizations that turn data and facts into an easily digestible dashboard for customers
Create wireframes and prototypes based on business requirements and in accordance with best practices and style guide
