Job summary

The Josef Group in McLean, VA seeks a creative UI/UX Designer to design, develop, and maintain mission-focused websites using Joomla and WordPress. You will work with a Senior Communications Officer to enhance function, accessibility, and user experience.

Qualifications

Position Overview

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled UI/UX Designer to support the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of mission-focused websites and digital platforms in McLean, VA.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with both Joomla and WordPress, along with a passion for creating engaging, user-friendly web experiences. This position requires someone who can think independently, propose innovative design solutions, and take ownership of website improvements rather than simply executing assigned tasks.

The UI/UX Designer will work closely with a Senior Communications Officer and other stakeholders to enhance website functionality, improve the presentation of information, and develop creative approaches to distributing digital content.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, update, and maintain websites using Joomla and WordPress content management systems.
