Anytime AI is seeking a UI/UX Designer to own the end-to-end design of our products—from research to high-fidelity mockups and design QA before releases. You will collaborate with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to turn complex legal workflows into intuitive, trustworthy experiences for attorneys and paralegals.

This high-ownership role ships quickly in a fast-moving startup, shaping how the legal industry adopts AI-driven solutions and ensuring a consistently excellent user

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-8 years of UI/UX design experience for complex software products, preferably B2B SaaS, AI, or legal tech.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end design from research to shipped interfaces.
• Expert proficiency in Figma including components, prototyping, and developer handoff.

Responsibilities

• Translate product vision into user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI designs for web apps.
• Design AI-native interaction patterns—document review, chat-based assistance, citations, and human-in-the-loop verification.

Position Overview

As a UI/UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end design of Anytime AI's products - from user research and workflow mapping through wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and design QA of shipped features. You will work directly with product, engineering, and customer-facing teams to turn complex legal workflows into intuitive, trustworthy experiences for busy attorneys and paralegals. This is a high-ownership role at a fast-moving startup: your designs will ship quickly and shape how an entire industry adopts AI.

Responsibilities

Product Design

• Translate product vision and feature requirements into user flows, wireframes, and polished high-fidelity UI designs for web applications
• Design AI-native interaction patterns - document review, chat-based assistance, citations, and human-in-the-loop verification - that build user trust in AI outputs
• Build and maintain a consistent design system (components, typography, color, iconography) as the product scales

User Research & Insight

• Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and workflow shadowing with attorneys, paralegals, and legal staff
• Extract insights from customer feedback, support tickets, and product usage data to identify friction points and improvement opportunities
• Translate research findings into actionable design recommendations and prioritized improvements

Collaboration & Delivery

• Partner closely with engineers on implementation - provide detailed specs, review builds against designs, and iterate quickly
• Work with product and sales teams to align design priorities with the roadmap and customer commitments
• Conduct design QA on new features before client demos and releases to maintain a high quality bar

Design Strategy

• Benchmark competitor and adjacent products; bring industry UX trends and emerging AI interaction patterns into our differentiation strategy
• Contribute to product roadmapping by identifying UX debt and proposing design-led feature opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 3-8 years of UI/UX design experience for complex software products; B2B SaaS, AI, or legal tech experience strongly preferred
• A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work - from research and problem framing to shipped, high-quality interfaces
• Expert proficiency in Figma (or equivalent), including component libraries, prototyping, and developer handoff
• Experience designing data-dense workflows, document-centric interfaces, or AI-assisted products
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills; comfortable making design decisions from both qualitative and quantitative evidence
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to present and defend design decisions clearly
• Familiarity with front-end constraints (HTML/CSS capabilities, responsive design); legal industry knowledge is a plus
