Job summary

StradIT in Dallas, TX is seeking a UI/UX Design Engineer to own end-to-end design for enterprise web and mobile experiences. The role focuses on research, journeys, IA, and reusable components to meet business objectives.

The position requires a strong portfolio, experience with design tools, and collaboration across Product, BA, and Engineering in an Agile environment. Onsite work is expected in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, CS, or related field.
• 10+ years of UI/UX design experience for enterprise web or mobile apps.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX and UI work.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch or similar tools.
• Experience delivering wireframes, prototypes, journeys, and design systems.
• Working knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and usability.

Responsibilities

StradIT is hiring a UI/UX Design Engineer in Dallas, TX (onsite) to own end-to-end design for enterprise web and mobile experiences.

Responsibilities

• Run user research activities including stakeholder interviews and usability assessments
• Study user journeys, workflows, and pain points to find improvement opportunities
• Produce personas, journey maps, information architecture, and task flows
• Define end-to-end user experiences that align with business objectives
• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes
• Design intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces
• Build and maintain design standards, style guides, and reusable components
• Ensure UI consistency across web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams across the product lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support product discovery work
• Translate business requirements into design specifications for development
• Review implementations to confirm alignment with approved designs
• Conduct usability testing, collect user feedback, and incorporate findings into iterations
• Analyze data and user behavior to drive continuous improvements
• Validate solutions using prototypes and testing before rollout
• Track industry trends and emerging UX practices
• Ensure solutions meet accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Promote inclusive, user-centered design practices through design reviews and QA support
• Advocate for performance, usability, and customer experience best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field
• 10+ years of UI/UX design experience for enterprise web or mobile applications
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end UX and UI work
• Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar design tools
• Experience producing wireframes, prototypes, user journeys, and design systems
• Working knowledge of accessibility, responsive design, and usability principles
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience delivering in Agile/Scrum environments
