Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a UI designer to join a growing creative team. This hands-on role focuses on drawing screens, building components, extending the design system, and collaborating with senior designers and the Creative Director. You’ll own the craft of the answer while the team frames the problem.

You will work at the intersection of design and mission, producing interfaces for operators and government-facing products, with a strong emphasis on visual craft and speed.

Qualifications

• Portfolio of interface work with real visual craft; dense screens attract us
• A couple of years designing product UI, with ability to pace with the team
• Experience with UI in desktop environments; defense/space knowledge not required but background welcome
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; motion/3D or basic code literacy is a plus

Responsibilities

• Design screens, components, and layouts feeding the engineering teams
• Extend and maintain a scalable UI design framework (components, states, iconography, type, color)
• Produce high-fidelity mockups and working prototypes quickly and iterate
• Bring strong design and artistic vision to differentiate our product
